The POWER of Niat

Bismillah
Assalamualaikum. ^.^
Do you know what Hadith 1 is all about?....
Yes, it is about ‘Niat’ or we can call it intention.
Well, let me story you a little bit about this hadith.

English translation :
It is narrated on the authority of Amirul Mu'minin, Abu Hafs 'Umar bin al-Khattab, radiyallahu 'anhu, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated."
[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]
This hadith was said by the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, at the time when a man emigrated from Makkah to Madinah during the Hijrah for the sake of marrying someone (Ummu Qais) and not for the sake of Islam.

Alright.
For ibadah like solat, fasting, hajj etc, we need to have niat to make the actions complete/sah. True or not?
Yes, true!

As we know when we do ANY actions, it is important to have these 3 items, which is :
1. Niat
2. Verbal/orally
3. Action

And you know what, even a small little thing that we do like eating, bathing, sleeping or whatever it is, can become SOOOOOOOO BIG for Allah just because of NIAT! And not to forget you can add up or get extra pahala as long as you do it LillahiTaala. As SIMPLE as that! And not only that, when you do anything LillahiTaala, indirectly you make your bond or connections with Allah more stronger too.

Ooohh…… I forgot to mention that anything you do because of the sake of Allah, we can call it IBADAH! (**whisper : isn’t that amazing?) hehe

Can you see how important it is to set our niat every single time we do anything?!
But WAIT!!!~ when I say ANYTHING means anything that Allah permits you to do and not something that Allah forbids you to do. Clear?  (>.<)

~*~

Every single dream that we wish it comes true WILL come true based on our niat, believe it or not. With Allah permission of course.

What we wish, Allah will grant it no matter how fast or slow you’ll get to it!
But sometimes, Allah grant our wish with something more better than what we wished for.
I dare to say that all of us have witnessed this hadith. Am I right?

And I must say that you will always and always be a witness for this hadith, whether you notice it or not.
So start from now always RE-SET back your niat (intention) everytime you wanna do something. And before you do anything, simply ask your ownself either you want it or you do it for the sake of Allah, for Islam and for The Hereafter, or you want it or you do it just because of this dunya.

And this is actually to differentiate you between a true muslim/muslimah with a good/kind-hearted regular person/muslim/muslimah.
Which one do you wanna be? Well……. you know better!

Story time.

I wanna tell you a story of one girl who had witness the truth of this hadith.
That girl dream had come true and it all started with just a simple niat which it sounds something like this, ‘Ya Allah I wanna come back to Malaysia again with the new good or more better me’. She had this intention during departure in KLIA to pursue her dream to become a doctor.

Actually she doesn’t know why she had that kind of intention, because that intention just came out from her heart suddenly and how she wish to change, but still doesn’t know if that wish can come true or not.
You know what, Alhamdulillah without she realized how smooth actually her path is when Allah grant her wish not only to be a good or more better person but to be more better muslimah too! Isn’t that great?
Yes, because Allah is The Best Planner. ;)

You know what, if you wish about something, Allah will open the path from unexpected directions for you to reach it. (**whisper : and with EFFORTS too, don’t forget it!!.)
……
Till we meet again, InsyaAllah. J
Assalamualaikum.
